Traditional evaporators consume steam continuously as a heat source, while MVR evaporators only need electricity to drive the compressor. The compressor pressurizes and heats the secondary steam by 5-20℃ before returning it to the heating chamber, achieving thermal energy recycling. Compared to single-effect evaporators, MVR evaporators save 60%-70% energy; compared to triple-effect systems, they save 30%-40%, with power consumption of only 30-80 kWh per ton of water.


🔧 Core Components

A complete MVR evaporator system consists of an evaporation heating chamber, steam compressor (roots, centrifugal or screw type), vapor-liquid separator, circulation pump, vacuum system, and control system. Material boils and evaporates in the heating chamber; secondary steam is compressed and recycled; condensate can be reused; concentrated liquid enters subsequent crystallization or disposal.
