Recently, WTEYA Hubei Jingshan production base shipped a set of MVR evaporator, which is a customized equipment for the full-scale treatment of leachate in Anhui Chuzhou project. This project covers the procurement of evaporation and solidification equipment for the leachate station and the technical transformation service of the original leachate treatment station.
Project background
After the project transformation, the landfill leachate is directly pumped to the leachate treatment station for treatment. The daily leachate treatment volume is estimated to be 42m³, and the fly ash leaching water treatment volume is estimated to be 17m³. After the landfill leachate is treated by biochemical + ultrafiltration + nanofiltration + reverse osmosis, the water produced meets the discharge standards. The concentrated water is fully consumed by our newly added MVR evaporator equipment. The salt mud formed is finally solidified and then sent to the fly ash landfill for treatment. The fly ash leaching water will be temporarily stored in the regulating tank, and after pretreatment, it will enter the newly added MVR evaporator equipment together with the leachate concentrate for full-scale consumption.
The MVR evaporator adopts the principle of mechanical vapor recompression and efficiently concentrates high-temperature, low-concentration wastewater through an advanced compression and heat transfer system. This process can not only treat wastewater, but also achieve resource recovery.

MVR evaporator structure
Evaporator: main equipment, including heater, separator, circulation pump.
Compressor system: core equipment, compressing secondary steam to provide evaporation heat source and increase the thermal enthalpy of secondary steam.
Preheater: waste heat utilization and increase feed temperature.
Control system: control and adjustment of compressor speed, valve, flow meter, temperature, and pressure to achieve automatic evaporation, cleaning, shutdown and other operations. Automatic alarm and automatic protection system from damage to maintain the dynamic balance of the system.
